Free Fun with New Trailer, Poster for ‘Free Guy’

A new trailer shows even more fun, action, and Ryan Reynolds in 20th Century Studios’ upcoming comedy, Free Guy. The film is set to be released theatrically on August 13.

Reynolds gets the superhero treatment once again in the new poster for Free Guy, similar in style to other action and comic book movie posters, but wildly unique and stylish.

The story follows Guy (Reynolds), a bank teller who discovers he is a background player in an open-world video game, and decides to become the hero of his own story that he rewrites himself. Now in a world with no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way before it is too late.

The film’s grand ensemble cast includes the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Joe Keery, and Taika Waititi.

The film’s cast will also include many popular gaming personalities, such as Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Lannan “LazarBeam” Eacott, Seán William “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Daniel “DanTDM” Middleton. With a strong cast tailored to appeal to many generations, this film is ready to be a summer hit.
