Film and musical fans will not have to wait long at all until they can feast their eyes on Jon M. Chu‘s In the Heights, which stars Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins, Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, and Olga Merediz just to name a few, as the film is scheduled to be released in theatres on June 11 through Warner Bros. Pictures.
But not only does the film come out in just over a week from now (our rave review is here), but Presidente has teamed up with Warner Bros. to conduct a contest that aims to give one lucky winner a life-changing amount of money.
For those who are not familiar with the premise, the film centers around a community of residents in the Washington Heights area who find a $96,000 ticket, and their lives are drastically different from that day forward. Warner Bros. and Presidente are taking this concept and are literally applying it to the real world.
Leading up to the June 11th release date, participants (age 21+) from across the nation are eligible to enter this contest by uploading a photo/video to their Facebook or Instagram profile that answers this one question: “How will $96,000 change your life?”
The winner will be selected by a select group of judges, one of which is famed baseball star Alex Rodriguez.
