First Trailer and Poster for ‘False Positive’ Teases a Scary Turn for Ilana Glazer

Ilana Glazer, most known for her television sitcom Broad City, stars in the A24/Hulu horror film False Positive, whose first trailer premiered today, teasing a more dramatic (and scary) turn for the actress, described as contemporary spin on Rosemary’s Baby. Written and directed by John Lee, while being co-written by Glazer, the film also stars Justin Theroux, Pierce Brosnan, Zainab Jah, Gretchen Mol, Sophia Bush and Josh Hamilton. Here’s the official plot synopsis from Hulu:

“After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Ilana Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle’s gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” As if getting pregnant weren’t complicated enough…”

Its first poster also premiered, which you can observe below:

You can also view the trailer below and stream the movie from June 25th exclusively on Hulu:
