It’s that time of the week to step into The ‘Verse! – the podcast where we visit different corners of the cinematic universes from Marvel, Star Wars, DC, and beyond!
This week we dive into WandaVision episodes 7 & 8, share first impressions of Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. on Hulu, dish out the squad’s thoughts on a Highlander reboot starring Henry Cavill, gush over Dave Filoni and Kathryn Hahn, because why not, AND bring you musical rendition of *SPOILER ALERT* you just have to listen and find out.
WandaVision had a case of the Mondays this week which means Monica ignored all logic and now has superpowers, Vision and Darcy are now BFFS, and Agnes apparently bit a kid once. Despite all of the Monday madness, episode 7 made The ‘Verse Squad laugh out loud whereas episode 8 made everyone cry, well maybe even sob for some. Things to note: Kathryn Hahn is a boss, Monica may or may not be a jock now, Paul Bettany dropped some serious Shakespeare on us, and Marvel really knows how to deliver a bop! Don’t worry, The ‘Verse Squad delivers their musical stylings this week and you will NOT be disappointed (as long as you plug your ears).
Besides The Squad’s attempt at forming a band, we could all agree that Dave Filoni has become the master of Star Wars (George Lucas watch out!), any and all ‘Verselings need to go checkout M.O.D.O.K. on Hulu, no like go run and watch the first episode. Speaking of M.O.D.O.K., we may or may not have a super special episode of the ‘Verse! headed your way with co-creator Jordan Blum of the brand new Marvel animated series on Hulu. Oh! And speaking of special guests, the ‘Verse Squad has a new addition to our motley crew as Kronsworth, an ‘evil robot,’ will now be delivering our mail. Makes sense right?
As always, make sure to give us a follow on Twitter @TheVerseCast but make sure to especially hit us up with any and all theories or predictions for the finale of WandaVision! Also remember to send us any questions that our new bot-mate Kronsworth will share on the next episode.
