Kate Hudson Joins ‘Knives Out 2’ Cast

Upset that there was no new Knives Out 2 casting announcement yesterday? Don’t fret, the Netflix sequel hasn’t made you wait too long, as another big name is officially added to the cast, thanks to a report from THR. 

Today the star on the docket is Kate Hudson, the Oscar-nominated performer from Almost Famous, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and most recently her Golden Globe-nominated performance in Sia’s controversial Music. It’s a pretty safe bet to say that this Rain Johnson murder mystery will be better received than that film. 

Hudson joins the increasingly impressive cast that includes Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, and Edward Norton. They’ll all likely be suspects for Daniel Craig’s returning super sleuth Benoit Blanc in this first of two sequels to Johnson’s hit 2019 film that will be released by Netflix.
