Music Supervisors Guild Rewards ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ and ‘Promising Young Woman’

The Music Supervisors Guild have handed out their awards, ending off a very successful weekend for the films Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Promising Young Woman, both of which also had strong showings at the BAFTAs over the past two days. 

Other winners in the film categories were Soul and The Cuban

The television categories topped off amusingly with a three-way tie for the title of Best Music Supervision in a Television Comedy/Musical, sharing the prize between High Fidelity, Insecure, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
