‘Twas the Night Before Nominations…

We’re only hours away, ladies and gentlemen. The Academy Award nominations are in the morning, so to help pass the time, here’s something silly for you all to enjoy. My short little Oscar poem:

‘Twas the night before nominations with voting in the can, not a creature was stirring, not even us pulling for Promising Young Wo-man. Our fingers are crossed, our predictions are done, here’s hoping Delroy Lindo as a nominee isn’t done. The Academy has voted, we’re ready for malaise, while crossing some fingers for Never Rarely Sometimes Always. It’ll be a one of a kind set of nominees, you’ve had your warning, so go rest up…we’ll see you in the morning.
