The Guild of Music Supervisors have announced the nominees for the 11th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards, honoring an eclectic mix of awards frontrunners and exciting projects whose names we haven’t been seeing every day for the last few months.
Among the nominees in their film categories are heavy hitters like Promising Young Woman and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, alongside titles like Bill & Ted Face The Music and The High Note, two films with music very much coded into their DNA.
The Guild honors music supervisors across many forms of media, including television (Watchmen, Insecure, and The Masked Singer are among the nominees), video games (Cyberpunk 2077 and FIFA 21, among others), movie trailers, and more.
The winners will be announced during a virtual ceremony on April 11th, 2021.
