‘Cobra Kai’ Moves Up Its Season Three Premiere Date

After a pretty tumultuous year, Netflix is helping Cobra Kai fans ring in 2021 in style. 

Following an announcement made on the show’s Twitter account on Dec. 24, Season 3 of the Karate Kid spin-off will now drop on Netflix on Jan. 1. The show was originally scheduled to premier on the streaming service on Jan. 8 but has been moved up with no official explanation for the new release date. 

The series, starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, has been a hit with fans of the movie trilogy since it premiered. Successfully tapping into 80s nostalgia, the hit show brings back protagonist Daniel La Russo and nemesis Johnny Lawrence and pins them against each other once again. 

With the Season 2 finale leaving fans reeling for more, many will be eager to turn to their favorite old characters to see where the third season goes. In the meantime, you can check out the Season 3 trailer for Cobra Kai below:
