First Look at ‘The White Tiger’

Netflix now has another possible Oscar contender debuting before the end of the year. Entertainment Weekly has shared first look photos from The White Tiger, the adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s 2008 Booker Prize-winning novel. It will be directed by Ramin Bahrani, known for films like Man Push Cart and 99 Homes. Priyanka Chopra Jones, who will also executive produce, stars alongside Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav. The film is described as “the epic journey of a poor Indian driver who must use his wit and cunning to break free from servitude to his rich masters and rise to the top of the heap.” Check out these first look photos below, courtesy of Netflix. The White Tiger is set to debut on the streaming service in December.
