Film Fest 919 Says That “The Show Must Go On” With All New Drive-In

Big news in North Carolina! Film Fest 919 just announced that they will host their 3rd edition of Film Fest 919 on Wednesday, October 14th – Saturday, October 31st this year, in a brand new event. Instead of going digital, 919 has decided to continue with their LIVE event, and offer their newly-created Drive-in at Carraway Village and The Green at Southern Village.

Randi Emerman and Carol Marshall, founders of Film Fest 919 said, “In keeping with our tradition, this year’s program will feature a slate of films encompassing a diverse breadth of compelling selections for the area’s enthusiastic film-loving audience.”

This festival has included quite the lineup the last couple years. Their first year consisted of some major award contenders, such as Roma, Green Book, The Favourite, and Shoplifters. During their sophomore festival, they featured films such as Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Pain & Glory, Ford v. Ferrari, and Marriage Story.

This third season will include the same “Oscar buzz” kind of films, that their audience expect.

A limited number of passes will be available in advance starting September 23.
