2026 Cannes Film Festival Lineup Revealed

This morning brought the announcement of the 79th Cannes Film Festival lineup. More titles will be revealed before the festival gets underway in May, likely including James Gray‘s Paper Tiger, which was not a part of today’s lot. Right now, Cannes is highlighted by new films In Competition from Pedro Almodóvar, Asghar Farhadi, Ryûsuke Hamaguchi, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Cristian Mungiu, and Paweł Pawlikowski. Other filmmakers in attendance include Jane Schoenbrun, Nicolas Winding Refn, and others. More below.
