Huh. What an odd choice for a U.K.-based critic’s organization. Not that Sinners is a bad winner, necessarily, but it’s so uniquely American in its milieu, attitude, and storytelling that I wouldn’t have pegged it as something that would have appealed to critics from across the pond.
