First Trailer for ‘The End’ Reveals Another Unusual Musical

It’s been quite the year for unique musicals, with Joker: Folie à Deux, Emilia Pérez, and now The End, which will, pun intended, end off a year of many unusual musicals with polarizing reception from both audiences and critics.

Written and directed by Joshua Oppenheimer, and co-written by Rasmus Heisterberg, the movie stars Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Moses Ingram, Michael Shannon, Bronagh Gallagher, Tim McInnerny, Lennie James, and Danielle Ryan.

Here is the plot synopsis:

“A wealthy family lives in an underground bunker two decades after the end of the world, which they directly contributed to.”
