After the reveal of the first two teaser trailers for Avengers: Doomsday (here and here) following a brief exclusive theatrical window, Marvel haas now done the same with a third teaser for their big 2026 blockbuster. Here, we have the unveiling of James Marsden being back as the X-Men hero Cyclops, making his official debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Alongside him in this teaser are Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and Ian McKellen‘s Magneto, joining the MCU as well.
Avengers: Doomsday is still revealing its cast, but Marsden is officially joining a loaded one, highlighted by Robert Downey Jr. returning to now play Doctor Victor Von Doom for directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The massive film will be in theaters next year on December 18th.
